Premise
- The crystalline lens and the retina can block offending sunlight.
- The corneal curvature is aspherical in that it gets gentler as it goes along the periphery.
- The cornea requires a biologically friendly contact lens since the cornea is an unprotected mucous membrane.
Effect
- UV blocking
The material of Floating-UV has a big benefit in physical properties and the structure. It especially can cut out offending UV rays of the sunlight. This can decrease physical inconvenience and reduce the appearance of cataracts.
- Aspherical lens
Floating-UV adapt to aspherical curvature of the cornea. The lens utilizes a concept beyond that of simply wearing a contact lens on the cornea: the Floating-UV glides above the cornea naturally on tears. This makes metabolism easier between the cornea and the lens.
- Human friendly material
The material is imported from Polymer Technology Corporation (US). The material has been upgraded with LDK (Oxygen Permeability) and stability at the same time. The lens is designed to promote gas circulation of the center. It is also biologically friendly since the lens can float on the cornea on natural tears.

Features
- The Floating-UV follows the same aspherical surfaces as the corneal structure.

Since the edge angle of the Floating-UV stands perpendicular against the eyelid, FBS is infinitesimal.

- We applied 82DK to the lens. This makes the lens flexible on the cornea in order to maximize the oxygen permeability. This can prevent stains and erosion.
- Our Floating-UV is manufactured by a precision machine, Optoform 80, which is made in the US. This machine can produce any kind of topography.
